At Mecca, there are no ordinary classes. Grounded in exercise physiology principles, and based on best practices in health and fitness, our classes are inventive, creative, and most importantly, proven beneficial for fitness of body, mind, and spirit. Leading our classes are leaders in the fitness industry, Austin's best and most-experienced group exercise professionals, devoted to their field and passionate about YOUR fitness. Finally, our intimate class size allows for more individualized instruction and truly sets our classes apart.

barre bootcamp

An interval workout combining classic ballet barre, traditional resistance training, and core strengthening, to trim, tone, and balance the body.

cardio core w/ iGnite your life
Mecca is pleased to partner with iGnite Your Life to offer this overall conditioning class that blends high energy and functional cardiovascular exercises with strengthening, toning and stabilizing core movements. All fitness levels welcome.

cardio strength w/ iGnite your life

iGnite's Cardio Strength class combines a variety of old-school calisthenics and cardiovascular conditioning exercises with functional strength and resistance training using weights, resistance bands, and medicine balls.

hiit it all

.... in just one hour. This class is a one stop shop for your daily dose of sweat. Your muscular strength and endurance will be tested when combined with cardiovascular movement; this workout feels like you’re working one-on-one with a private trainer. Think lifting weights mixed with body weight and cardio intervals to get your heart rate up and keep it there. Easily modifiable and appropriate for all levels.

sweat hiit it out

.... after the weekend. This cardio/strength HIIT class is the perfect detox/cleanse after a few days of indulgence, and a great way to kick-start your week. Never miss a Monday! 

kettlebells total conditioning

Challenge your entire body with this innovative circuit class that tests your strength, endurance, core and more. Break out of linear workouts and learn how to move weight in all directions for a full 360 degrees of loaded movement. Push your performance in 3D — the way your body was meant to move.

pilates mat

The mat work consists of a series of non impact yet challenging movements which increase strength and flexibility and improve alignment, balance, coordination and tone. The class is designed to meet the needs of both the novice and the advanced exerciser but it is recommended that new participants schedule a private session before attending this class. 

pilates mat challenge

This fast paced authentic Pilates Mat class appropriate for experienced Pilates students. The exercises are basic and intermediate depending on the group, however you will be challenged to perform them with perfect form. The class is quick, and participants should be familiar with the Authentic Pilates order and transitions and be ready to sweat. 

rhythm ride

This music driven cycling class brings rhythm to your ride. Part dance party on the bike, part sweat fest, you'll forget how hard you're working as you pedal, push, and pace to the music. *Due to limited bike availability, online or phone RSVP is required. Cycle shoes are recommended but not required.

studio cycling

Cycling is arguably the best non-impact high-intensity cardio exercise there is. This classic studio cycling class emphasizes proper body position and form, spin technique and cadence. You'll be led along "fast flats" and "rough roads," pushed up "steady climbs," and in "all-out sprints." The workout is unpredictable, challenging, and fun. *Space is limited and online or phone RSVP is suggested. Cycle shoes are recommended but not required.

studio cycling + hiit combo

In this hiit spin class, anything goes…. Short segments of cardio cross-training off the bike are interjected throughout. Plyos, jump rope, stairs, running drills, sprints, and maybe even some kick-boxing are included to work your body, your cardio system, and your mind(!) in a variety of ways. Strategically placed on Wednesday and Sunday, this class is the perfect mid-week pick-me-up, or weekend detox.

This high energy cycle class is infused with short segments of functional core and strength work off the bike. And although the legs stop spinning during the 4-6 minute ab sets, the sweat keeps pouring and the heart keeps pounding making this the ultimate cardio combo. *Space is limited and online or phone RSVP is suggested. Cycle shoes are recommended but not required. 

trx full body fatigue

This suspension training circuit class incorporates dynamic core strengthening using the TRX straps as well as functional fitness exercises emphasizing stability and body balance. This full body workout is great for athletes wanting to up their game, improve posture and core strength, and reach their full potential. But anyone at any fitness level looking for a great total body workout will love this class and leave filling completely and thoroughly worked, yet wanting more.

This yoga-inspired body-shaping class employs functional compound exercises to target all major muscle groups. Isolation exercises are also included for the smaller supporting and stabilizing muscles important for muscular balance, body alignment, and posture. Although body weight exercises and yoga flow sequences are the foundation for this class, light dumbbells may also be introduced for variety. And with the emphasis on strength, flexibility, and joint and spine mobility, this workout is the perfect compliment to your cardio routine. This class includes elements of many different yoga styles and is appropriate for all levels. Athletic and dynamic, yet grounded in the foundational principals of yoga, emphasis is placed on connecting with the breath, mindfulness, movement as meditation, and the interdependence of mind-body-spirit. Physically challenging, while also spiritually energizing and mentally calming, this class is the perfect start or finish to the day.

sun & barre

Sun & Barre is an energetic fun barre and yoga hybrid workout. This class is designed to improve balance, strength, and over-all flexibility. Sun salutations, challenging core exercises, and upper and lower body sequences, moving from the mat to the barre, will chisel, sculpt and tone your body.

grace & grit

Grace & Grit is an intelligent way to train and increase your metabolic potential. You will move through 360 degrees of motion shifting using your bodyweight with good form and grace. All movements are invitational with modifications to truly start where you are today. Strength, stabilization and agility training, in combination with proprioceptive balance work, will teach the body to sense itself in space. Transformation and mind-body connection are inherent with consistent practice in this class.
