Our Team of Wellness Experts' 2015 Resolutions

What is Your Resolution for 2015?

Our team of experts share what they're striving for in the coming year.

My intention for 2015 is to unplug more and get out into nature. I want to re-connect with those closest to me and live in the moment.
-Carol Currier | Massage Therapist, Mecca Spa

In the New Year, I am focusing on being a support system to my family and their New Year’s fitness plans. I will also devote more time to exercising my young puppy outside!
-Samia Mooney | Personal Trainer & Pilates, Mecca Gym

I'd like to spend more time with family and friends this year, and really be present in the moment with them.
-Sarah Whadford | Massage Therapist, Mecca Spa

I will take each day as it comes and live in the moment - no looking back! I will learn something new each day that will impact my life and/or the lives of my clients and family. Finally, I will increase my volunteer work in the community.
-Randeen Torvik Ragan | Personal Trainer, Mecca Gym

My New Year's resolutions are: 1. Drink a lot more water. 2. Increase my cardio workouts. 3. Meditate daily.
-AJ Chaboudy | Massage Therapist, Mecca Spa

2015 for me will be all about staying healthy from the inside out with hydration, nutrition, and the proper balance of exercise and rest. What you put into your body is what you will get out of your body. If you treat it right, you will feel right!
-Jules Baratta | Personal Trainer, Mecca Gym

My resolutions for 2015 are to devote my energy to what truly matters (and it's not "stuff"!)...to inspire wellness of body, mind, and spirit...and to be an instrument of compassion and peace. Kindness toward oneself is, I believe, foundational to fullness of life.
-Tamara Kamieneski | Massage Therapist, Mecca Spa

My new years resolution is to not gain any "baby weight." In fact, I want/need to lose 10 lbs. So, I will be ramping my cardio back up to 3 days/week and do a yoga class once a week. The biggest change will be getting my diet back in check. I have been slipping, like most, the past couple months and it shows. So, I went to Chuy's one last time :-) and now I'm back to the grindstone.
-Tommy Stanko | Personal Trainer & Gym Manager, Mecca Gym

My resolution is to wear more white. Some say white represents wholeness & completion. In my 33rd year I hope to live more simply and keep the same bottle of Veuve Clicquot in my fridge! Cheers!
-Alexis Luevano | Massage Therapist & Spa Manager, Mecca Spa

My resolutions for this year are to start meditating and to listen more.
-Marcia Fry | Personal Trainer, Mecca Gym
